My sister I'm your brother
We have not met each other before
My heart hears your story and a little of your war
I trust in God's justice and seeing in all things
& wish you the best--as you proceed.
I heard you tell a story of a man who assaulted you,
took his hands to your neck & I'm not sure what else
And felt an upset, a sadness, and tightness in my neck.
This man is no man--not one of our breed--
Closer to the jackals, wolves, and shayateen.
I do not know your story
Nor will I pretend
I have no advise
Nor do I wish to offend
I only wish you to know on this day
Not who I am, but that you have a brother on these kind of days.
